Arkwrights Chicken Dry Dog Food – Adult Dogs, 15Kg

Arkwrights Complete Chicken Dry Dog Food – 15kg

Arkwrights Complete Chicken is Gilbertson & Page's everyday dry food for adult working and sporting dogs, built on cereals with chicken at 10% of the recipe. The analysis sits at 18% crude protein and 7% oils and fats, which is a maintenance specification rather than a performance one — right for a dog that is out and busy most days without being pushed hard.

The kibble is crunchy rather than soft, which Gilbertson & Page say helps keep teeth clean, and the food is made in the UK with locally sourced ingredients where they can. Nothing artificial is added by way of colours, flavours or sugars. The 15kg sack is the economical size; the same recipe is also packed in 4kg.

Performance & Benefits

• 18% crude protein and 7% crude oils and fats — a steady adult maintenance level.
• Chicken at 10% within the meat and animal derivatives.
• Wholegrain cereals, included for slow energy release rather than a quick lift.
• Crunchy extruded kibble, which Gilbertson & Page say helps keep teeth clean.
• No added artificial colours, flavours or sugars.
• Made in the UK, with locally sourced ingredients where possible.

Suitable For

• Adult working and sporting dogs in regular activity.
• Adult pet dogs doing well on a straightforward cereal-based diet.
• Multi-dog households, where a 15kg sack works out far cheaper than small bags.
• Dogs that prefer poultry to red meat — Arkwrights Complete Beef is the same analysis with beef instead.
• Not a grain-free or wheat-free food. A dog reacting to wheat needs Arkwrights Sensitive Complete Extra Chicken, which is made without it.

Feeding

• Gilbertson & Page's daily guide: up to 200g for dogs under 10kg, 200–370g for 10–20kg, 370–680g for 20–45kg, and over 680g above 45kg.
• Split the daily amount across two meals and adjust on body condition and workload.
• Feed dry, or moisten with warm water if your dog prefers it that way.
• Change over from a previous food across several days rather than overnight.
• Fresh drinking water available at all times.
