Hasbro Hungry Hungry Hippos Squeak & Tug Plush Dog Toy – 17in

Hasbro Hungry Hungry Hippos Squeak & Tug Plush Dog Toy – 17in

This 17in plush takes the wide-mouthed hippo from Hasbro's classic marble-chomping game and turns it into a toy built for a dog's mouth rather than a plastic one. Like the smaller colourway in the range, it pairs the hippo shape with an integrated tug section, but here it's presented without a stated colour combination on the supplier listing, so we're describing it by size and feature rather than guessing at colours.

The squeaker sits in the hippo's mouth, so bites in that area get the loudest response, while the tug section gives a separate handle for interactive play. Hasbro's feed doesn't confirm the tug material or plush fill breakdown, so those specifics aren't invented here.

Performance & Benefits

• Built-in tug section extends play beyond squeak-and-fetch into light tug-of-war games
• Squeaker placed in the hippo's mouth rewards the bite-down action the shape naturally invites
• 17in size gives dogs plenty of toy to grip, shake and carry
• Hungry Hungry Hippos styling gives it strong novelty and gift appeal for fans of the game

Suitable For

• Medium dogs that enjoy a mix of squeaky play and light tugging
• Moderate chewers and tuggers — this is a plush toy, not a heavy-duty rope or rubber tug
• Owners after a novelty, game-themed toy with more than one way to play
• Supervised interactive games between dog and owner

How to Use

• Start with gentle tug games using the built-in handle section to get your dog used to the toy
• Encourage bites near the hippo's mouth to trigger the squeaker during solo play
• Keep tug sessions controlled rather than allowing full-force pulling, since this is a plush construction rather than a heavy-duty tug rope
• Store away from damp conditions when not in use to protect the fabric
