Battles The Original Udder Cream – White, 400g

The white udder cream is one of those parlour standards that has outlived several fashions in dairy hygiene: a soft, readily absorbed emollient rubbed into udders and teats after milking, where wind, wet and repeated washing leave skin chapped and sore. It comes in a 400g tub.

Battle, Hayward & Bower's own website is not currently reachable, so this page states what can be confirmed from the pack and the barcode and nothing more. Figures and claims that appeared here before could not be checked against the manufacturer, and they have been taken out rather than repeated.

• Close the lid firmly after use.

• Battles' own website is unreachable at the time of writing — its certificate does not match the hostname — so no manufacturer specification can be quoted.
• Because of that, no ingredient list, active ingredient or percentage is given here. Earlier wording on this page named an active at a stated strength and listed constituents; none of it could be traced to Battles and it has been removed.
• The same cream is also sold in a coloured version; check the tub if the colour matters to you.
