Scruffs Amalfi Stripe Cat Saucer – Red 13cm

Scruffs Amalfi Stripe Cat Saucer – Red, 13cm

Red is the warmest of the four Amalfi stripes and the easiest to spot on a dark floor, which is a small practical point in a house where saucers get moved about. The dish itself is 13cm across, 3cm deep and holds 0.2 litres of food.

Stoneware is the reason to buy a ceramic saucer rather than a plastic one. It is heavy, so it does not travel; it does not scratch into a surface that traps bacteria; and it holds cool food cool for longer than a thin plastic dish will. This one is dishwasher and microwave safe.

Performance & Benefits

• Shallow 3cm dish that keeps whiskers off the sides.
• Hand-painted red and cream stripe over a hard-wearing glaze.
• 0.2 litre capacity, sized for one meal.
• Heavy stoneware body resists sliding and chipping.
• Keeps wet food cooler for longer than plastic.
• Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Suitable For

• Cats that show whisker fatigue — eating in bursts, or pulling food out to eat.
• Portioned wet feeding.
• Kittens graduating from a shallow starter dish.
• Households already using the red Amalfi bowls.
• A dog needs far more than 0.2 litres — the Scruffs Amalfi Stripe Food Bowl – Red 15cm is the version to use for one.

How to Use

• Place on a flat floor away from a wall so the cat can eat facing out.
• Serve one meal at a time and lift the saucer between meals.
• Wash after each wet meal — dishwasher safe, or by hand in warm soapy water.
• Can be microwaved briefly to warm chilled food.

Specification

• 13 x 13 x 3cm. Capacity 0.2 litres.
• Stoneware ceramic, hand-painted stripe.
