A buffalo horn is about as long-lasting as a natural chew gets. It is solid keratin — the same material as a hoof or a nail — so rather than being eaten it is gradually worn down, which means one horn can occupy a dog on and off for weeks rather than minutes.
This small grade suits smaller dogs and those new to horn chews. It is a single natural ingredient with nothing added, and because it is odourless and does not go soft it can be left down between sessions without making a mess of a bed or a rug.
